DEVIZES FAMILY LEARNING TRAIL

Working in association with Devizes Strong Children Project, which supports 11 local primary schools in implementing the Every Child Matters initiative, The Learning Tree was in Devizes on Saturday with The Learning Trail.  A sensory learning journey for families to discover their favourite way of learning - through their eyes, ears, nose, touch or taste.  150 adults and children enjoyed the experiences pictured below and in addition joined in a town trail, thought up limericks and created Anglo Saxon brooches using embossing techniques.

The feedback from the day was fantastic and three quotes really sum it all up - 'Freedom', 'a variety of experiences' and 'time with my daughter to enjoy the things she likes to do.'
